COVID-19

As COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to affect individuals and businesses around the globe, Seaside Staffing is monitoring this situation very closely. Our top priorities are the safety of our teams, minimizing the spread of the virus, and mitigating the effects on employment and our business.

According to the CDC, for most people in the United States including most types of workers, the risk of infection with COVID-19 is currently low. https://www.osha.gov/SLTC/covid-19/hazardrecognition.html#low_risk

The spread from person-to-person is most likely among close contacts (about 6 feet). Person-to-person spread is thought to occur mainly via respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, similar to how influenza and other respiratory pathogens spread.

If you have a fever, stay home until you no longer have a fever without using any over the counter medication.

If you do not have any risk factors nor any reason to believe you are sick or have been exposed, and if you are not taking care of the elderly, all assignments are still on-going as of today.  We will keep you notified of any changes.

Also note that according to the CDC and manufacturer recent information, respirators with particulate filters can be effective against COVID-19.  Additionally, Seaside has provided all work locations with sanitization wipes.  Please use them and remember to daily clean and disinfect your respirator as well as all of your PPE!  Refer to the manufacturer instructions included with your PPE as well as the training you received at Seaside Staffing.

Please let Seaside Staffing know if you or your family develop any symptoms.

Seaside Staffing is also adopting the guidance including return to work waiting periods for individuals that have:
1.    Travelled to (or through) a Level 2* or 3* country in the past 14 days.
2.    Known contact with anyone that has travelled to (or through) a Level 2* or 3* country in the past 14 days.
3.    Known exposure to anyone testing positive for coronavirus within the last 14 days.

Level 2 and 3 countries with COVID-19 restrictions are set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are listed at: Https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices/.

Please notify us immediately if you fall under any of the above measures.
